Contact for data protection matters: Roger Hilfiker.
2. Principles
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law, in particular the revised Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). We only process data that is necessary to operate the website and to respond to your enquiries.
We do not sell personal data, we do not analyse your behaviour for advertising or analytics, and we do not create user profiles.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Swizzonic AG (Switzerland). When you access the website, technically necessary information transmitted by your browser is processed – in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the HTTP status code, and information about your browser and operating system.
This information is required to provide the website reliably and to ensure its security. It is stored in server log files and deleted or anonymised after a short time. The server is located in Switzerland.
4. Contact and contact form
If you contact us by phone, email or via our contact form, we process the information you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number and your message) in order to handle and answer your request.
The contact form forwards your details via our server (at Swizzonic in Switzerland) to us solely by email; no database is created and nothing is permanently stored on the server. We then handle your message like an ordinary email enquiry and retain it only for as long as necessary to handle your request or as required by statutory retention obligations. No details are passed on to uninvolved third parties.
Please do not send us sensitive health data via the form or by unencrypted email. For such information we are happy to arrange a secure channel.
5. Online appointment booking
For online appointment booking we link to an external service (online booking at web.cenplexbooking.ch). If you follow this link, you leave our website. The appointment data you enter there is processed by that provider; their own privacy terms apply.
7. Embedded content and third-party services
So that the website works without unnecessary data outflows, we host fonts and program libraries ourselves. In particular, no Google Fonts and no external font or script services are loaded. In the following cases, third-party content is nevertheless loaded:
- Maps (swisstopo): On the homepage we embed a map using official cartographic material from the Swiss Confederation (swisstopo, geo.admin.ch, hosted in Switzerland). When the map tiles load, your IP address is transmitted to this service.
- Exercise videos (Infomaniak): On the "Exercises & videos" page we embed videos via the Swiss provider Infomaniak. When a video loads, your IP address is transmitted to Infomaniak (Switzerland).
- YouTube (only after consent): Where we show YouTube videos, you first see only a preview image. Only when you actively click on it is the video loaded via youtube-nocookie.com. Before this click there is no contact with YouTube/Google. After the click, data is transmitted to Google (YouTube, USA); Google's privacy terms apply.
8. Disclosure abroad
We process personal data in Switzerland as a rule. A transfer abroad essentially only takes place if you explicitly load a YouTube video – in which case to Google in the USA. In the other cases described (hosting, maps, exercise videos), the data remains in Switzerland.
9. Your rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection law, you have the right to information about the personal data we process, as well as the right to rectification, deletion or restriction of processing. To exercise these rights, contact the controller named above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
10. Data security
Access to our website is encrypted via HTTPS (SSL/TLS). We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, absolute security in data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
11. Changes
We may adapt this privacy policy at any time if the website or the legal framework changes. The version published on this page at any given time applies.
